Make a World of Difference with Urenco

At Urenco, we specialise in enriching uranium for the civil nuclear industry, a unique capability we offer at four sites across the globe. As a global leader in the production of low-carbon energy, we are at the forefront of the transition to a sustainable, net-zero future. What You Will Do:

As the go-to expert for HSE matters, you will guide all stages of the project lifecycle. Your focus will be on aligning activities with our HSE objectives, advising on health and safety, and overseeing environmental protection and quality assurance.

Promote a proactive safety culture by integrating HSE objectives into project activities.
Ensure HSE compliance by offering specialist advice and support to project teams and contractors.
Lead the implementation of HSE strategies, ensuring adherence to best practices and legislation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance safety performance and ensure successful project delivery.
What You Need to Thrive in This Role:

A degree in a relevant field and professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH or HVK).
Proven experience in high-hazard environments, particularly within the construction sector.
Strong leadership in HSE, with a history of successfully delivering projects.
Expertise in integrated management systems and HSE improvement programmes.
What We Offer:

At Urenco, we provide more than just a job - we offer a future. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow and thrive in a dynamic, global organisation. As a truly global company with a presence in the UK, USA, Germany, and the Netherlands, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.

We value individuality and strive to create a workplace where every voice is heard, and diversity thrives. If you need reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, our talent acquisition team is here to assist.

Because together, we are one Urenco. We are enriching the world. And enriching your future.
