We’re looking for an Investment Accountant. Based at our Capenhurst site you’ll support and deliver on all financial activities of major capital projects, including oversight of budgeting, reporting and supporting current financial reports as well as summarising and forecasting for future business growth and general economic outlook.

What you’ll do:
• Provide technical financial advice and knowledge, ensuring that projects are accounted for correctly from an SAP control perspective, accruals and liabilities.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist UTD Lead Team to make informed decisions.
• Review internal controls, project risks and emerging issues and safeguarding of assets to ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures
• Support management in decision making from advice and analysis for financial planning, new business opportunities & capital activity
What do you need to thrive in this role?
• Bachelors degree in business, finance, or accounting with at least 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to represent the function on financial matters including but not limited to advice, presentations and decisions on O&M/Capital policies.
• Have working knowledge of applicable regulations
