‘Tis the Season for supporting CASA of Lea County

18 December 2023

Each year, Urenco USA personnel participate in an annual Toy Drive supporting the CASA of Lea County’s Giving Tree. CASA is a local organization that advocates for children who have been placed in foster care and Christmas time is an important time of year to support their needs and spread joy within our local communities.

UUSA Employees were excited to pick up gift tags and purchase age-appropriate new toys or gift cards. The toys were collected and UUSA's Senior Communications Specialist Lauren Healy, pictured with Casa Executive Director Megan Gallegos, played Santa and delivered a donation to Casa’s Celebration Closet and the Giving Tree toys in early December. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, foster parents and CASA representatives will be able to shop and select specific toys for their children.

UUSA strives to provide support and services year round to local community organizations.
