LTI Donation for Zorggoed De Zegger

12 March 2021

Urenco Nederland donated €1000 to a local care charity in celebration of a safety milestone. On 24 January, our facility in Almelo celebrated 1800 days without a Lost Time Incident. And since then, we also reached the milestone of five years without an incident that led to absence.

Shiftmanager Danny is a volunteer at “Zorggoed De Zegger” and suggested this charity for the safety donation. The organisation provides tailor-made youth care for children and young people aged four to 18. They offer a safe home to children who cannot live with their parents. For instance for young people who suffer from attachment problems, an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, a physical disability and/or a mild mental disability.

The children (who form one household under COVID-19 restrictions) were happy to receive the donation from Danny. It will be used to purchase new sports equipment.
