Read our latest reportUrenco has joined Destination Nuclear, an online recruitment and engagement campaign led by the UK Government to boost the nuclear industry with the skills and personnel it needs for the future.
The nuclear sector plays a vital role in delivering clean, reliable energy; skilled professionals are the cornerstone of our success and Destination Nuclear represents a proactive approach to meeting this critical need.
Urenco is supporting the initiative alongside other employers within the UK nuclear sector, the first time the industry has collaborated in this area.
The campaign centres around a website that educates potential candidates about working in the nuclear sector, as well as providing a single location that lists available jobs across all UK nuclear companies.
This is being supported by a dedicated advertisement campaign that is being broadcast across radio stations, billboards and social media.
This collective effort will help the nuclear sector to fill the 120,000 roles that will be needed by 2030, and will aid in Urenco’s own recruitment efforts to enable our capacity programme.
