Urenco donates PPE to help communities during COVID-19 pandemic

07 April 2020

Protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of the communities where we operate, as well as our employees, is of primary importance to Urenco at all times, and especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the preventative and mitigation efforts we have in place to ensure we can continue to play our part in providing reliable power generation during this time, we are sharing personal protective equipment with health workers in care homes, hospitals and other medical organisations.

This has been supported by a generous gift from one of our customers, who kindly donated a large number of protective face masks to Urenco to show their support and friendship at this difficult time.

The masks are being distributed among our employees and seven critical medical organisations, and have been supplemented by overalls and aprons donated by Urenco’s sites.
