Urenco, an international supplier of enrichment services, announces that Stephen Billingham, will succeed Sir John Hood as Chairman of the Board on 1 January 2016.
Stephen has been non-executive director of the company since 2009.
Stephen is also currently Chairman of Anglian Water Group and Punch Taverns plc. and a non-executive director of Balfour Beatty plc.
Stephen Billingham commenting on his appointment said:
“I am honoured to be able to lead the Board of a first class uranium enrichment services company. Urenco plays a key role in the nuclear fuel supply chain and as such makes an important contribution in the generation of low carbon energy.”
Stephen Billingham will be Chairman of the Board during 2016 whilst the company continues the search process for a long term successor to Sir John Hood.
