NRC reports no findings at biannual licensee meeting in Eunice, NM

On April 27, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted their biannual licensee performance review of Urenco USA (UUSA). Every two years, the NRC assesses UUSA’s safety and safeguards performance. During the period between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2015, the NRC identified no areas needing improvement. The NRC will continue to regulate and assess UUSA’s performance in the future.

UUSA employs experts in Radiation Protection, Environmental Protection, Waste Management, and Transportation. In addition to industry experts, UUSA has extensive programs for Emergency Preparedness. The safety of our employees and the communities that support us is our number one priority.
