Ensure site compliance with established standards for plant production and that standards for physical inventories, cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and URENCO's record of 100% on time delivery are maintained. Implement and drive production efficiency initiatives that improve upon established standards.
Ensure that all production, with regards to materials usage, material handling, material shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, and customer satisfaction, achieve UUSA's goal of being the lowest cost per SWU provider.
Manage implementation and execution of production priorities throughout the Operations organization. Ensure that UUSA interests are well communicated and implemented within Group strategy for Logistics and UEC Logistics plans.
Manage, organize and review logistics budget and operational plans and resolve variances.
Ensure staff competencies, training and skills are maintained in line with training policies, job requirements and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technical Field and eight to ten years of related experience in logistics management and nuclear experience.
