We’re looking for a Maintenance Execution Manager. Based at our Capenhurst location, you’ll support the Head of Maintenance and Reliability in managing Discipline Leaders and Technicians in such a way that it efficiently and competently supports the continuity of the Urenco Group. Additionally, the Maintenance Execution Manager is responsible for the quality of the maintenance activities undertaken in support of Chemical Processing Facility and the teams operating within it, to ensure safe, compliant, continuous and efficient operations

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and coach a team of functional leads to promote working practices and set standards that deliver a safe environment making full use of risk assessment techniques
  • Manage maintenance processes to ensure all compliance inspections are completed to procedure and plan
  • Implement best practice maintenance activities / ways of working that will support and improve plant OEE, supporting Reliability Engineers in analysis of plant failures to establish root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage the Maintenance leaders to ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with UCP Asset Management procedure and SAP WO Management Process.

What do you need to thrive in this role?

  • Recognised technical apprenticeship, together with HNC / NVQ (Level3) and/or City and Guilds qualification, or equivalent experience in an operations or maintenance environment
  • Significant experience in a high hazard chemical manufacturing or nuclear engineering environment in a maintenance / operations supervisory role.
  • Broad technical knowledge and understanding of plant equipment and systems across various engineering disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching planning and organisational skills. Success with leading, motivating and developing a multi-disciplined team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant security, health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
